A new single will be released for the first time in six months! It will be launched in two forms; with and without a DVD of the two songs’ promotion videos. "CAN'T SLEEP, CAN'T EAT, I'M SICK" produced by T.kura & Michico is a funky, rhythmic, dazzling pop number for early summer. The promotion video features dance choreographed by Shawnette Heard for the first time in Japan. She is known for choreographing Janet’s tour. Ningyo (mermaid) is the first cover of NOKKO’s classic, Ningyo (1994).

Amuro’s music video, “WoWa” was chosen as the MVA "FEMALE VIDEO WINNER"!!
"WoWa" was the FEMALE VIDEO WINNER at SPACE SHOWER Music Video Awards 06, a music video festival held to acknowledge and honor all artists and creators engaged in the music video.
This festival will be held at the Nihon Budokan on Friday, March 17. It will be a grand event with surprise guests! Vote on BEST YOUR CHOICE and participate in the event (deadline on February 19).

Namie Amuro produced her first theme song for a foreign movie!
Amuro produced the Japanese theme song for Sin City, a Hollywood action film starring Bruce Willis directed by Robert Rodriguez (premiered on October 1)!
Having watched the movie, Amuro was very interested in the original artwork and romantic story and based the songs on her impressions. The director, Rodriguez, was impressed with her songs as they matched the movie’s worldview and he eagerly collaborated on some lines in the song by himself. The title is “Violet Sauce” and will be released this fall!

Amuro appeared in a spring pink mini skirt and white tank top with her original brown western knee-high boots and surprised 2000 audience members who were not informed of her appearance. |
