Release of ayu’s new single “MOON/blossom” on Wednesday, July 14!!

The first in a series of three consecutive single releases toward ayu’s 50th single!

The 48th single is an ultra powerful double A-side of “MOON” and “blossom,” songs that are already being touted as classics!!
It is a creating a stir as ayu’s first work with Yasuhiko Hoshino—the composer of her debut song “poker face” and her classic “A Song for XX”—in 10 years!
“MOON” attracted great attention when requests for its release as a single came pouring in after it was distributed as a limited Chaku Uta ® available only to fan club members who purchased the album “Rock 'n' Roll Circus” and was performed live with a full chorus. “blossom” is a fresh number that is perfect for the season. With a catchy Hoshino-created melody that lingers in the ears, it is a major tie-up song featured in commercials for “Zespri Golden Kiwi, Green Kiwis.” Three formats are being released: remixed versions that are coupled with popular songs on the “Rock 'n' Roll Circus” album, such as “Microphone,” “Don't look back,” “Last Links,” and “meaning of Love” as well as a video clip for “MOON” and a behind-the-scenes clip showing how the video was made on DVD.
