Tuesday,
January 18th
Today, I had some recording to
do, except that this time, it
wasn't for a song, but for ID's.
An ID is for example; -Hi I'm
Jacynthe and you are listening
to... I had many of those to do.
We had to send them to different
radio stations in Japan! Sometimes,
I make them funny, sometimes I
sing them, and sometimes I just
do them the more conventional
way and I do all of this for my
special fans!

今日は、レコーディングをしました。でも、今回は歌わなかったの。ただ自分のIDを吹き込んだだけ。IDっていうのは、たとえば、『ハイ！ジョセイントです。あなたが聴いているのは...』みたいなモノをたっくさん！録音しました。日本のラジオ局向けです！時々、おもしろおかしく作っちゃったりしちゃうんだ。ちょっと歌ってみたり、すごく真面目っぽくしゃべったり...スペシャルなファンの人達に向けてね！

January 17th
The pile of e-mails and letters
I receive is adding up like crazy,
so I wanted to answer as many
of them as I could. It's really
important for me to answer all
of them myself, because when I
was younger, I sent a letter to
a group I really liked. Only to
receive many, many months later
a response starting with; Dear
fan... To top it all off, there
wasn't even a picture in the envelope,
nothing. I don't ever want my
fans to have the same type of
disappointment...

もう信じられない位のメールや手紙がどんどん来て嬉しい悲鳴をあげてます。だって自分で出来るだけ返事を書きたいでしょ、だってすごく大切な事なんだもの。もし、私がすごく小さくって、自分の好きなグループにメールを出してその返事が、ものすご〜く後に来て『親愛なるファンの皆様へ.....』みたいな感じの返事を受け取ったらもう、すごく失望しちゃうでしょ？私のファンにはそういう気持ちには絶対させたくないの！

January 16th
I went out last night, and I only
came home when the sun was starting
to rise... So I had an even harder
time to wake this morning. Fortunately
for me, there was nothing stressing
in my agenda, only a brunch that
turned out to be a lot of fun.
The whole team that worked on
the "Disney's Christmas Special"
was there. We stayed together
all day laughing, singing, and
reminiscing stories of our trip.
I really had a great time working
with them, and I hope that I'll
get the opportunity to do it again
soon!

昨晩は出かけてて、太陽が昇る頃に家に帰って来て... ものすごく眠たいし、起きるのがつらかったー。幸運にもスケジュール的にはストレスになる様な事はまるでなかったから、ブランチにはもうすっかりゴキゲン！"Disney's
Christmas Special" で一緒に仕事をしたチームの人達が皆そこに居たのよ。ずっとほがらかに過ごしてたの。旅の思い出話や、歌のことを話してたの。彼等と一緒に仕事が出来て最高だったわ。もう一度一緒にやりたい！

Saturday,
January 15th
On January 29th, my singing teacher
is putting together a show for
all of her students. We will all
be performing the opera pieces
of our choice in front of parents
and friends. It's not a big show
in the sense that not all of her
students are professionals and
we're only doing that to see where
we're at with our technique. So
today, I went to practice with
the professional piano player
that will be accompanying us.
She's so good, and I think I'll
be needing a lot more practicing.
The song that I chose to sing
is very difficult...

1月29日は歌の先生主催の発表会。両親や友達の前でオペラのある楽曲を歌うの。ちょっとしたコンサートで大きいものではないけれど、生徒たちのほとんどがプロフェッショナルだし、自分達のレベルを知る上でも大切ね。そんな訳で今日は、プロの伴奏家の人と練習したの。彼女すごく良かったわ。だけどもうちょっと練習したかったなー。だって私が歌う曲、ものすごくむずかしいんだもん。

Friday,
January 14th
When I finally woke up, my sisters
and I started doing our Tae-Bo
tape. Tae-Bo, is some sort of
kickboxing, aerobics and martial
arts all mixed together. My older
sister is more into sports, but
my younger sister and I are totally
not in shape, lazy girls! It was
so funny because when it came
time to doing high kicks and punches,
a few of us got hurt. Let's just
say that my living room is not
that big... Don't worry there
was no major injuries!

やっと起きて、お姉ちゃん、妹と Tae-Bo っていう、キックボクシング、エアロビクス、芸術性も取り混ぜたもの、のテープを見て一緒にやってたの。お姉ちゃんはすごくスポーツ得意なんだけど、妹はそうでもなくって、まったくナマケモノなんだから！だけど、高い位置でのキックやパンチをやってた時、私たち皆イタタタタって感じになっちゃった。それにリビングルームはそんなに広くないもの！だけど、重傷者は出てないから安心してね。

January 13th
Today, I went to the studio. I
had some recording to do. We did
the vocals for the dance version
of "Listen to my heart". I find
that it sounds so good, that when
I was singing, I couldnt help
myself from dancing. I couldn't
stop moving. It's as if the beat
had total control over my arms
and legs. Imagine the scene...

今日は、スタジオへ行って来ました。レコーディングがあったの。"Listen
to my heart".のダンス・ヴァージョンのヴォーカル録りがあったのよ。もう、音がメチャクチャ良くって。歌っている時に、ダンスしちゃうくらい！もう、カラダが動くの止められないって感じ。両腕、両足ともにビートにコントロールされてるって感じ、想像出来るでしょ？

January 12th
I had a hard time sleeping last
night. I could not stop my mind
from thinking about different
pieces of clothing that I would
like to design! I really have
to start learning how to sew or
else my drawings won't ever be
of any use.

January 10th
No more breaks, today I went back
to working on my fan mail and
on my computer! Even if I work
like crazy, it still adds up...
I'm glad, because that means everything
is going soooo well!

もう休日はなくなっちゃったわ。今日はファンメールを自分のコンピューターで書いてたわ。仕事に追いまくられてても、本当にありがたいなーって思う。だってそれって何かしらうまくいっているっていう事だもの。

January 9th
Since yesterday was everybody's
day off and I worked, I decided
to take my break today!!! I was
supposed to go have brunch with
my dancers, but we cancelled it
at the last minute. I went to
my best friend's house where we
hung out for a while. Then after
picking up our other friend, we
went to see the Spanish soccer
team's game! My friends and I
were playing as "cheerleaders"...It
was really funny and best of all,
they won!

昨日から皆はお休みを取っているけど、私は仕事をしてたから、今日はお休み！ダンサーの皆と一緒にブランチをしようと思ってたのだけど、ドタキャン！それでベストフレンドの家に行ってほんの少しゆっくりしてたわ。それから、他の友達を誘ってスペインのサッカーの試合を観に行ったの。友達と私とでまるでチアリーダーのように遊んじゃったわ。とっても楽しかったわ。試合も勝ったしね。

January 7th
I had to go get my car this morning,
so my father woke me up at eight
in the morning. That was the only
time he could bring me there.
I felt dead tired. You know how
I need my "24 hours" of sleep!
I was really happy once I got
the news that there was hardly
no problems with my car!!! After
paying my bill, I went straight
to the studio where I answered
some fan mail... Once again, you
always brighten' up my day...

今朝、修理に出してる車を取りに行かなきゃならなくって、お父さんが朝８時に起こしにきたの。その時間しかお父さんの都合がつかなくって、もうくったくた。もう丸々２４時間、眠りたーい！だけど自分の車がそんなに故障していないって聞いて嬉しかったわ。修理代を支払って、スタジオへ直行。ファンメールの返事を書くためにネ。みんなのお陰で良い日が過ごせるっていうもの。

January 6th
I was supposed to have breakfast
with my friends this morning,
but unfortunately, I didn't wake
up until 2:00 oclock in the afternoon.
So we decided to postpone our
breakfast... Instead, I went to
the studio, and I did some work.
When I went to leave to start
my car to go home, my car would't
start... My dad came to get me
and we got my car towed to a garage!

友達とブレイクファースト（朝食）をとるつもりだったのが、残念！お昼２時頃まで起きられなかったの〜っ。ちょっと計画延期...。そのかわり、スタジオへ行って仕事をこなしたわ。自分の車を運転して帰ろうと思った矢先、車が動かなくって...お父さんに迎えにきてもらったの。もう修理に出さなきゃ！

to my singing lesson. What was
so cool about that, is that after
the class, I always feel revived,
so, my teacher and I always talk.
We really get along with each
other, so we have discussions
about our lives and our fears...
